This is an invaluable guide, Kasumi, thank you! I don't even want to describe the tedious way I was making sprites using Inkscape before (although they were never ported to NES format ultimately). I'll definitely try this out.
Nice! I like the shadowy illumination style of the scenery. It's also a great place to add real/imaginary elements of underwater luminescence like deep-sea jellyfish and sturgeon, etc. Keep up the good work.
Hi Meats. Heh, I love the screen name and its arbitrary silliness. Really glad to see someone is planning on making educational games! It's a genre with so much potential that is often overlooked.

Hi Polo, and welcome! I'm sure a lot of people here are excited to network with a bgm maker, because those are kinda rare it seems. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
I have plenty of graphics I can donate to the cause, but I made them in Inkscape before NESMaker was available in beta. I can batch all the .svg files. Is that the best way to share? Otherwise I can simply post the graphics as .png directly to the forum. Suggestions?
