More Palettes for Game Objects / Player

I understand that there are only two sub-palettes that can be used for all Player/Game Objects. I find this very constraining and would like to have more!

We would all love to have more colors but that's how the NES works.
If you are clever about it you could use an advanced technique called "sprite parenting" which uses multiple sprites to give a character more colors.

OK i didn't realize it was a NES limitation. I was looking at Zelda and seems like they have more colors for player and game objects than just 2 sub-palettes, so i thought maybe it was a limitation of current NESmaker

Every screen allows for two monster palettes. If your monster is bigger than a single tile then you could use both palettes on the same monster. Just remember to set them on the Screen Info panel in the same order as you worked them in the Monster Editor. If your monster is stationary you could use background tiles too.
