Music, Die, Death

When I fall into a hole, the music stops until I 1: reset the game or 2: get killed by a monster. I'm sure there's something important that I'm forgetting that I should know, but I don't know... ???

Modify your Handle Player Death script (don't know which one is... because it depends of your project/module). Cf your project settings.

(in my example, the script is CreatePlayerDeathObject.asm)

And search and comment out the line (18):

The sound should stop when it is finished... Or maybe your fmt sound is incorrect? too long?
What happens exactly? it restarts the level and you re still hearing the death sound?

I'll attach a FTM. The first song is the sound. The second song is what is heard in-game.

You don't have gameplay video? I don't know famitracker... I mean I know how to open a .fmt file, but I wouldn't know if there is an error or not.

How are set your screens' songs to? try to not use "STOP MUSIC" nor "NO CHANGE"... this could be your issue, here?

the song that i made. i've always wondered why they added stop music and no change to it. nesm's default soundfont in ft has a instrument for blank songs. and for no change, well, just use the song from the last screen... hmm...

I don't know but from my tests, in the 4.1.X version, those options are broken.
It used to work correctly in the previous versions.
