Thank you! Take the time, there's no deadline. Study title screens that you like and use references.

Melee weapon
Key placement
locked door
Monster locked room
spike death
Start screen

Way more features added. I'm almost at the peak of features that I want to use from NESMaker. I've modified some code according to various sources on these forums.

There are MANY things that I want to tweak but I am at my infancy of learning ASM and 6502 architecture.

PLEASE leave some comments on structure and pointers! Any and all advice/critique is greatly appreciated.

Watched the youtube video, looks great! congrats. Can't wait to try this updated version tonight ;)

Yeah those tiles are going to change, I was using their (micro mages) style as a frame of reference to give my pixel art a boost of confidence. I wanted something that popped and easy to make while I learned the NESMaker platform. I'll be branching from that style with the next update.

Just tried the demo and It already feels really good. Makes me wish more old nes games had that small player scale, this is gonna be great!
