Have you watched the Music and SFX tutorial?

SFX need labeled like: sfx_something

In famitracker. Module->MOdule Properties -> add
Then make sure you label it with the prefix: sfx_

Cutter's write up on the music engine is very helpful as well, you can check that out in these forums under 'Sound'

When I add multiple sound effects, it just replaces the original one.

I'm a little late to this thread, But I think I have the answer for whoever is still stuck here.

What I believe was happening here was you were importing a new txt file created in famitracker for each sound, but the trick is to not create a new file for every sound effect or music, but keep them all in one file together.

When creating your next sound effect or music, add it to the same file by going into "module properties" in famitracker and adding a new "song". Don't forget to name them properly in that same window.

When editing the sound effect, just make sure you have the correct one selected in the "songs" dropdown menu in the main screen of famitracker.

If you do this, when you export text from famitracker and then import them into nesmaker, you should see them all show up together instead of overwriting the first one over and over.
