I was able to start some testing for the shroopie boss. Thanks to basty and rethunter
for ideas and execution.

Almika Star Rider in space too shroopie boss start 2.gif

just a start. working everything out first, then makin it pretty.
im able to use what you made rethunter fairly easily. some tweaking, mostly because of how
nesmaker works is all. jolly good. i will see how much i can use, while also making a good battle.
2 worms seem to do fine and i can still fire a shot without slowdown, also theres the mouth.
so 3 worms or another object may be too much. So thinkin of ways to make it even more interesting.
maybe the worms leave a trail when small, but fight if they grow or whatever. WIp
(the trail would just be a tile change when worm is touching, but change back to blank when... idk yet.
Maybe after a timer

Looks good! But I would change the background graphics. For something like a cave or a hole. That the background corresponded to the boss.
I am very glad that my work came in handy! If you need any graphics or animation, just let me know. For accurate execution, I need the size, the number of sprites for the animation and the number of color palettes.
Regarding the mushroom. To complicate and not give the player time to rest, you can do that the mushroom sometimes fired a shot from his eyes at the player. Or so that the player does not hide under the mushroom, let the mushroom vomit a wide wave of vomit that will flow down (I can draw).
I can also draw on your idea as I see it.

Fersure. This is just a test room. Also nesmaker has a lot of limitations, so it's tough to just do what we want. But yeah the fight will be more than just this. It'll take a while to implement everything.
This game is in space and everything is cyber! So a cave might not work. I think I'm gonna hook some wires up to him with what little tile graphics I have left for the room. That's another issue for the background. These bosses take up most of the normal background tiles, so I have to work with what paths I have for the game....Puke sounds good though! I would do it based on tiles. I can probly do those up myself though thanks!

Cyber Girl Head. One pallete 63 Sprites.
At the top in the center is an iron hose. The girl can be connected to a computer or some mechanism.
If you use it, I will add animation.
On the right are two options in three colors. Upper without green, lower without black.

Well it's beautiful, andI do want to use it. Thank you. I'd need a hurt or grimaced face, mainly the mouth to the eyes is all. And whatever you're thinking for stuff ,weapons whatever. Problem tall electricity strikes. Or cyber tendrils from her hair(but they come from the ground ). Could be a cyber uni-gorgon. Maybe some probe droid that spike lighting to towards the ground. I even love the colors.

For the shroom ,i am gonna use the monsters in the level also, even the taller worms Im not using in the boss fight. I'm trying not to waste any of your work. So far I've been able to use it all fine. But if there's something that takes great effort, youre welcome to ask if it'll work first. I wouldn't want you to needlessly use your time and effort.
Another thing to note,is that I can only animate small parts of these big bosses. With the mushroom or skull,or this cyber woman,i can have one object big enough to act as the face. And so I can animate some stuff.
You may already know that. These seem to be made with the right limits so far, for what I can do with them within newsmaker and workarounds n stuff. So thanks for that too.

And thanks again for all of this beautiful art!

So actually, this lady seems pretty large.... I will try to work it out but it may be real close to the limit,if not over.

So i finally got her into the game here. But as you can see,the black doesnt end up looking right.
Theres not a whole lot i can do about that, and she took up almost every single tile i can use on a given screen.
Had to trim some too, like the earrings.(also i know her right bottom wire is messed up, thats just my fault)
She is part tiles, part object here.

She will basically have to be against a solid color background, such as black. Unless she is made specifically
within certain regions of squares, i cant alter intricate colors n stuff like that. What i mean is, this is basically how
she will be handled and how she will look.(the colors are just what i had going, they can be changed).

How many sprites you have for this boss in background and in sprites?
Those three pictures files are my maximum really. The face is an object though. So that's around the maximum size for that. So basically ,exactly the amount combined in those 3 pictures.
And they still to to be arranged in the same way. But I can deal with that part if needed.
Also for the face, the grimaced/hurt face should be that same size. I think 64 x 64.Same size as the eyes/mouth square.

I reread what i said. I feel like i actually wasnt clear. What i meant was, some wires go to"nowhere".
Mainly the bottom ones. If they could just wrap in to behind here head, that would be reat. Or whatever
you see fit. No rush at all, this project is only slowly moving right now.

The screenshot above, where she is red is all the available space if that's what you mean. And it should be the correct scale. The mouth and eyes will be objects, so I have room for different faces in my object graphics. But every time graphic is pretty much used up on her.
Can you make screenshoot of PPU on this boss?

Isn't it possible to use only one half? For example, the left. And the other half to mirror? Since the heroine of the game.

I read the information. It turned out that the NES can not mirror the sprites of background. I didn't know that. So you can either draw a boos as a sprite to save half of sprites. But there may be a flicker of sprites. Or tell me the exact number of 8x8 pixel sprites I can use for the boss. Then I won't skimp on mirroring, and draw better. How many color palettes can you use on the boss?
