Progress!! I've added a switchable weapon system to the "Up+B" attack. The player can select the weapons by hitting select and choosing the one they want (I plan to add a sprite to the hud to represent what they have selected) The one I worked on top uses @crazygrouptrio from the forums flash macro to "heal" the player. It compares the Mana bar and uses 2 to add 1 health.

Got the swapping sprites working. Now... I just need to figure out what the other two abilities are going to be....

Quick demonstration of three of the abilities.
Projectile has changed to "Eye lasers" because all paladins can shoot lasers from their eyes.
Castlevania style throwing axes
Flash Heal

Man, this game is going to be INSANE when it’s all said and done. Love how much you’re fitting into the project.

You should ask Nishi about that.
He probably has trick or two to either split or expand the bank so you can add in more monsters.

nah, hes talked to me about that many times, and i can definitely 100% say he is it not using the "normal" ways to expand a bank, that would work on a regular mapper 30 cartridge, really he is basically recoding all of nesmaker to allow for more data

Thanks guys, its all good. I've got a couple tricks lets to uses objects and just double up on the image banks. I did it successfully in the Mini-Marrow fight here with the ice witches spikes. I can get everything I planned :)


Learned SO much in this process and there are things, if I do another, that I will definitely do differently and more efficiently.
