12 Days Of NESmas Tutorial - Adding Scrolling?

Hello Everyone,

I'm still very new to NESmaker and have completed the 12 Days Of NESmas tutorials.

I just wanted to expand on the game I have currently started making and wanted to add screen scrolling (similar to Zelda)

I am guessing that it would of been better to start with the adventure module rather than maze module for this?

Or, is it a tick box I have not found to enable?

Thank you in advance (for what could be a very noob question)

There is no tick box to achieve that effect, unfortunately. I assume you mean the single screen game that does a wipe transition to the new screen, like The Legend of Zelda, right? You might search the forums here, but I don't know that anybody has ever figured that out and shared it. And if they have, it might not be for the latest version of NESMaker. Good luck!

I just mean the simple change from one screen to the next like in this video at 8:52;

I've looked at various tutorials but can't work out how to make this happen :-(

To be able to go from a screen to another one, you need to set your player's "edge object reaction" to "go to next screen":

(if it's what you are asking... or maybe I misunderstood the question ;))
