I'm almost through all of the tutorials plus I watched all of the summer camp video. I'm finishing up L2R intermediate within the half hour here and then all I have left is Adventure Tutorial Intermediate.

I might of missed it through the great massive amounts of information i'm learning throughout these.. but can anyone explain to me or point out a tutorial where they explain Monster Bits, Hurt Reaction, & Spawn Type under Monster Animation Info?

I can't recall Joe ever talking about them in any of these, but I could be wrong!

Thanks so much.

Joe doesn't talk about these because they aren't implemented, at least not out of the box.

Anything affected by the NESmaker UI is exported into specific files in the GameData and ScreenData folders. The main NESmaker codebase then includes those files in some fashion. However, nothing in the codebase appears to include the exported files for those. Tbh from what I've searched through it doesn't seem Monster Bits are exported from the tool at all, though I could just be overlooking something. NESmaker isn't very well documented with these sorts of things.

Thank you, CutterCross! That was my initial reaction, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything major/helpful with them. You rule as always.

I'd been wondering about the 'spawn type' too. I can't figure out what it could be intended for.

A lot of properties are relics from the Mystic Searches tool (at first, NESmaker was a tool to work on "Mystic Searches", Joe's game).
If you watched gameplay videos or played to Mystic Origins, you might have a small idea what all those properties were doing.
Spawn Type, or Hurt Reaction are not used by the default modules.

how in 4.5.9 would we be able to implement these? I've seen a tutorial on the monster bits, but was curious about the others...
