Heres a pic i did. I like it and thought it may be good for the label art for any carts i make(or atleast for a ROM pic). I know its long left to right instead of up and down, i have the layered photoshop document so i can end up making it work well. Yeah im pretty sure i want this for the cover. If not, maybe in the final 2 pages of the manual, but thats expecting someone to buy a CIB copy!Who knows?!
My other thought was an anime girl anime-running towards me looking distressed with a blob and bat chasing her.

Thought about adding some nice creatures. These ones here (butterfly,toitle,worm) and probly like a lizard n stuff for the caves. A snow somethin for the snow level. This should make monsterless and npcless screens nicer too!

Thanks jolly! Just 2 frames of animation and two random 8 direction action states quickly looping. Gives it that go anywhere at any time motion.

I updated the rom so people can play with the butterflies and jam the fire level tune.(it's the 6th door at the begining).
I left it so when you kill a monster they turn into a butterfly also.Enjoy!

Thanks Yan. I was on my way to change them back to lava, but it took up too many lines of code in my tile scripts.
So i kept it as is.

Heres the start of an upgrade statue. It gives ya boots you can keep all for yourself. Even if you die!

I'd like to mention that atleast 50 percent of this game is made with the power of the sun.
I live in a small cabin that i built and i use solar power when im there or simply run my laptop on
it's battery.This goes hand-in-hand with the title, Almika, which means, she of the sun.

What?! That is really an awesome information about the game but also about your process of creation / living!

My laptop is not doin good.its just a boot up problem.
I was able to get my game files onto a usb via cmd prompt which i have never done.Cant even safemode!
It worked, but i probly have to
My game is not lost, i will fix my laptop and be back doin stuff, just might take a day or so.Just wanted to share my experience. Back up your files to something other than your laptop or pc right now please if you dont already.Just a friendly reminder.



Edit: Found my backup i made when my laptop started gettin wonky.So i'm back right where i was!
Also i fixed my laptop. It was a boot issue. I just ordered another pair .....

Did a map update(reflected on the first post).
I did make a few flame level baddies, nothing too crazy yet.
Also the ROM is updated so you can play around in the fire level now.

This level is rough still.
