Anyone here a comic expert?

I got this comic. At first glance it seems like nothing (generally speaking, I'm not commentating on the subject matter or art). It's called Eric Griffin's Ebony Warrior no #1 September 1992. If you look it up, you will find a similar 93 version, not a variant or a reprint
( according to the situation explained further here) but it's not the same comic.
My feeling is that it was a first failed attempt. Then maybe the next year he tried again, (possibly had a backer and didn't put " africa rising" on the front cover because of it sounding militant, also making the cover look less amatuerly drawn(no offense))., Re-first-time printing No #1 and then a no #2. Failing again essentially, unless it was intended that way....

So i believe it's a very limited print, with my limited comic book knowledge. I did try to research alot and even asked my local comic expert. He may have been busy though,he just said "yeah, looks like a failed ,african american oriented series , from the early 90s.

I will post a picture when I'm near wifi.
I can't post from my phone, even a small image, not sure why.

Edit: made it super small.

Not really an expert but it does seems genuine though and I most certainly haven't ever heard of comic such a name so chances are good that it is a rare print.
Sorry to say though, it doesn't look very valuable. But with a luck you might be able to generate amazon hype around it.

Can't say I am a comic expert but I have been collecting since 1992. Mostly Batman, Flash and Superman. Anyhow, there isn't much on this comic book but I did find the following;

Premiere Full Color Issue - collectors item. This is a comic that was published by the coalition of young Black Comic Book Publishers in the early 1990's. Roger Barnes, the author of the "Age of Heru" is the "colorist." He was a member of the alliance.

Appears to be worth 7.00$ not too shabby.

Hey thanks. Yeah I saw the same thing. I would say that person's way off. It's either only worth 3 dollars or way more to someone interested, but not without a backstory.
I'm guessing he (uneek-gifts, a very small run online store where a man sells his personal african american based used items) couldn't find any info on it either other than the overlying story of ANIA getting four african american publishers to sign up with them. What you read talks about 1993 though, like I said, this was "published" in September 92, which is not talked about anywhere... So far.
I am well aware of anything on the internet about this comic, which isn't much.
I guess I'm wondering if anyone actually knows about this version of the comic, as there is no info pertaining to it online.
Even Amazon has it mislisted, along with every comic book site.

Could be, during the 90's there was a boom of brand new super heroes who didn't stick around for the long run. I think many of them just ended up being forgotten by time. Still a neat comic to own.

Im usually into the off -the -wall one-shot or short-lived stuff. None of its worth much
but i'd imagine some day it would be. Not just yet though!

Yeah this is an interesting one. I did my diligent research, and i may have found the writer!
I am going to pm him and see if it is actually eric griffin(not the comedian) or not.
