Free letters and numbers sprites in the style of a classic theater marquee, but equally at home on scoreboards, alert messages, and more.
While making them, I had in mind the cut scenes from Techmo Bowl after you score a touchdown. The big fonts in those scenes were a nice change from the smaller sprites throughout the game, but I wished the looked more like the scoreboards and Jumbotrons of the day.
All characters are 16x16 pixels, except for the I, the exclamation point, and the period, which are 16x8. And they all use only one color—unless you want to get creative and add some glitchy bulbs here and there. Because each character comes very close to its sprite boundary, you may find you need an empty 8x8 row to separate multiple lines of text to keep everything legible.
