I've being teeth grinding and reading up on here the past few weeks hiding in the corner !

NES is a bigger learning curve for me. I have used ZX Spectrum game engines previous which are a lot more noob friendly
then a thousand lines in basic riddled with syntax errors. Going back as a child used to spend hours with Basic coding books typing in each line
putting in a blank cassette, pressing record and hoping the game actually stored and played!!!

I fancied a change, some colour and no colour clash.

So the journey begins....

Mid 30's bloke, Big retro gamer. I've spent the past few months building and configuring a NeoGeo cab with Tri-Sync CRT.
Use Bigbox frontend, Backends "Groovymame; arcade side and MME4CRT version of Retroarch for the console side"

first computer commodore VIC-20
first console GrandStand pong machine!

It's definitely a tough but ti crack and the tutorials help get you started, unfortunately after that you'll have to rely on the community if your looking to make something more complex then say Pac-Man. Anyhow, welcome!
