Hi I've been looking into NES Maker for awhile now. I'd like to do like a Goonies 2 style game with original story. I know that'll be a long road considering I don't know how to do anything yet. I've watched all the beginner Tutorial's posted by 8 Bit Hero's. Thought I'd re watch them and go through some of the steps with him as he explains. Even thought I'd do a practice game before trying my main project.

Anyhow just thought I'd say Hello to everybody. Anybody have an other good guides for a beginner?

Welcome in the community.
Glad to have you here with us.

For a good start, I'd recommand to follow all the official tutorials:
- 12 Days of NESmas
- 13 Bytes of October
- the module specifi videos (Just skip the "beginner" videos, you won't learn anything useful from them)

On the forum, you'll find a lot of fixes, community tutorials and custom scripts to add new features to your projects.
Have fun !

Welcome!
Great idea to start with a test game before trying to make something complex.
Here’s a YouTube channel that helped me a lot: Baardbi’s channel
He has also posted some excellent tutorials on the forum.
By the way, the forum itself is a great learning resource as well.
Happy developing !
