How to import my own images?

An incredibly dumb question which you may give me an incredibly dumb answer to if you want a laugh, but I have spent a good 20 minutes trying to figure out how to use sprites I made in Krita (for example) and import it into NESMaker. I have it in BMP format, I just can't locate where I can import the image to have as a player (for example).

Am I missing something here?

you can copy images from other apps and paste in the pixel editor. (ctrl-c > ctrl-v)
keep in mind that any image you paste in will need to be colored in with the rgb colors of the editor for them to work.

Copy paste.. like explained in the tutorial videos.
For example on that one:

Reminder: make sure to follow ALL the tutorial videos to learn how to use NESmaker and how to make your first NES games
- the 12 Days of NESmas
- all the "intermediate" (and "Expert") tutorial videos for each module (type of games). You can skip the "beginner" ones, you won't learn anything from them.

Have fun ! :coffee:
