INLretro USB Programmer changes and alternatives?

I was wondering if anyone knew of an alternative to the INLretro Programmer / Flasher. Seems they're not selling them anymore (or that version anyway) until new multiflaher and circuit boards come out. Not sure if its a concern that they've discontinued the PCBs AND the programmer, but I would have thaught the programmer would still be available if they intended it to be compatible with their new design.

Just ordered some of the new Broke Studio boards hoping to order a INFlives programmer streight after only to find they're changing it and its discontinued with the cart boards! Please, can anyone put my mind at rest that whatever they come out with will actually be backwards compatible. I'd contact them but I've heard they don't reply.

The only alternative I can think of at the moment is going old school components and flashing the actual rom chips and the CIC chip off the PCB and getting the soldering iron out!

Wait for the news... it will come in a few days I think.
INL will propose a new flasher, it should be compatible with the classic mapper30 boards.
Now the question is... the price and quantities.

That's a relief. Not sure I like the sound of a universal NES board. Certainly that would be more expensive to produce but we have Broke Studio now.

Main concern (for me) is the price. All that technology (it might be a fpga or similar proc) might increase the price of the board.

Had a little chat with Paul (from InfiniteNESLives).

So, the "new versions" of the boards and the flasher are for the other boards... not for NESmaker kit or NESmaker boards.
You can still order your INL NESmaker flasher and mapper30 NESmaker boards as usual, even if it's written "Out of Stock".
Those are custom made, Paul build them when he has orders. So, you can go and order if/when you need ! :)
