Heres some pics of the console i tried on and the problem with my player Sprite.

Dont have the console any more.. changed it to a twin famicom instead. So can not check that more.

Maybe it was just my console that were bad..
Someone that have an famicom to try on?

No ones heard of the AVS? It's a fantastic HD clone console that doesn't cost a arm & leg. It definitely can play nesmaker games.

A lot of members have the AVS. It's the best modern way to play it.
Me, playing on NES, Famicom, raspberry pi & on my mac.

Confirmed to work on Analogue's just released NT Mini Noir.

Also, not sure if this fits the thread perfectly, but maybe it'll be of some help to anyone searching, so I'll add it anyway --

Confirmed to work on the following Android Emulators --
  • NES.emu (by Robert Broglia)
  • RetroArch with core named NES / Famimcom (Mesen) -- license GPLv3
  • Retro Nes Emulator
  • Super NES :)
  • NESDroid
  • SuperNostalgia

CLASSIQ N Console is working good for my flash cart. Nothing instantly noticeably off. Game play normal. The controller is a little cheap but works great for the price which was only $22. I have the red and black one.

Nestopia does not support mapper 30. It gives you an error saying the "mapper is malformed" lol.

Compiling a list of supported Hardware that will run using Mapper 20/30 for those looking to play or develop games!

Currently Testing with Mystic Quest Origins

Working:
Emulators:
We added support for NES and mapper 30 to Argon earlier this year.
The Android version (for phone/tablet/tv/chromebook) is available on Google Play.
We have an Amazon version (Fire Tablet, Fire TV, Fire Stick) available for private testing.
Raspberry Pi version also in private testing.

More info at playargon.com

Information for developers that would like their games in either the free play or premium section at devs.playargon.com

Any questions/suggestions/feedback/etc, just ping me here or on social media (markspaceinc on itch, twitter, facebook, IG, etc)

We had lots of fun with NES -- I most enjoy the simulated stereo support we have - chiptune music sounds awersome with headphones on!

Compatible Clone consoles NES maker mapper 30, adding those works to the post for better search results for me later.
I'm gonna buy a few of the cheaper new clone consols and see if they work, dout it but worth a go. Does anyone own any of them and can verify any more that do or don't work?
I wanna know what the best consol is to tell people to buy to play this slew of new NES games on Kickstarter this year.

Working:
Original NES 1985 Console (NES-100)
Redesigned NES Console (NES-101)
Re-release NES Console (HVS-101)
HyperKin Retron HD* (M01888-GR)
Analogue NT/NT Mini (Rev1)
Retron 3

Not Working:
HyperKin Retron 5 (Older RetroArch, might be possible if HyperKin patches it)
HyperKin RetroDuo

Unknown:
8-bitHD (http://www.gamerztek.com/product-p/8-bit-hd.htm)(HDMI)
8-Bit Entertainment System (http://www.gamerztek.com/product-p/8-bit-es1.htm)
Es-Zoga NES-101
Hyperkin Retron 1
There were a few clone consols in Europe too would bee good to know if any of those works and add them to the list, if anyone has any please post here so we can build the list
BOS 2800 Portable Console TV
Game Poly Station Playstation Design
I just tested Mapper 30 on my Retron 3 and Yobo Factor 5, and on a FC Twin it worked on all three of those. It also worked on my Famicom Clones with an adapter the FC Compact and the Game Fillip. Then I just ordered the latest Retron N1 AV as soon as I get it we will find out if it works with Mapper 30 or not too..

I notice the original poster of this thread hasn't logged in for almost 5 years ("last seen" 2018).
Perhaps someone regularly active will be kind enough to keep a fresh thread with updated list?

That is a great Ideal. Anyway I had just gotten a Couple of Handheld Nes Consoles off Aliexpress, and both of those work with Mapper 30.

The Hamy Portable HG-891 for NES Carts.
Fei Hao HandHeld Game HG-938 for Famicom Carts.

As for compatibility with other Mappers the HG-938 is a bit better than the Hamy plus it has a widescreen mode and it has a rechargeable Battery. The Hamy just uses Triple A Batteries. Both will play Famicom and Nes Carts using an Adapter but I really like the HG-938 best because of the size of the Screen.

I was wondering if anyone tested the games with other emulators. I would love to put my own games on my two arcade machines. One running a raspberry pi and the other running a mini-PC.

With the shell for the recallbox for raspberry pi, it works without problems
