Muck Sunflower Escape From Bot Planet

Before I bought NES maker I told myself I had to have an idea for a game. I spent a few days coming up with this concept and bought the program. Tutorials and a week of making up graphics I finally started putting it together a few days ago. I'm using the maze game base. For my first game I'm keeping it simple just run screen to screen and collect items. The items are tools, screws, nuts and bolts. I also have a battery item which I pretty proud to say I created a second higher value prize tile for. I made 2 paths that work although I still don't completely understand it. There was a very helpful thread on making them HERE if your interested. Muck Sunflower is kinda a call back to those old sci fi pulp heroes like Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon. The plan is to finish this game and then reuse resources for the adventure module. Of course that's gonna be Muck Sunflower Return to Bot Planet.

Thanks I've just been chippin away little by little. Color adjustments, better level attempts and working monsters. Got about 40 level screens now. Trying to vary them for a progression of areas feel without being too complicated.

Thank you. I had a Commador 64 growing up. Definitely a huge influence on me and this project. I dont think I played Repton. Looks like a Boulderdash type which I played a bit. I but I did have Frak! That's a nostalgic deep cut that takes me back. That's certainly the vibe I'm going for. Im really happy someone picked up on it.
