NES game based on JoJo: Phantom Blood, Yey or nay?

The title explains it all. I want to make it like an adventure game, where you obtain weapons, Talk to advance, yatta, yatta. yatta. Can i have some assistance doing this? :idea:

I don't know how similar that is to my idea of making a Legacy game... Where after a certain point in the story the player changes to a different player that's their relative or ancestor offspring or something... Like the Belmont family legacy vs Dracula or Jostar vs Dio thing. I've seen all of the animated JoJo series including Golden Wind/Experience. They need to get animating more soon. :)

You're right! I should Start with this project soon!

I'm pretty sure it's frowned apon to make anything that's not your own IP. It's literally written on the NESmaker splash screen.

Just figured I warn you, even talking about it can get you flack. Starts all sorts of guff. Thought I'd say something to help you avoid it if possible.

As I may have mentioned to the op on this, the idea is a great concept... a family curse that goes generation to generation.. (Nightmare Castle may explore this concept in its sequel or end game by having the player character die and his daughter continue his journey)
And Jojo is my favorite anime. :)
