i'm sure there will be a playlist eventually, but for now for reference on the tutorial videos links are:
getting started 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N31cfM2l0RA&feature=youtu.be
getting started 2(pixel editor): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DestwmQ6588

also a posted link of an early update on the pixel editor, just replace the .exe from this with your existing download:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hpgQXx_IaJVxN8qH3xkdKtFMY4PLhYno/view

the changes in the pixel editor are noted as:
added a Tile-Selection control that allows you to very easily select groups of tiles for cutting and pasting. The cutting and pasting also supports the clipboard. If you like using tools like MSPaint or Gimp, or Photoshop, you can paste from those apps. Finally, when pasting, if you hold down the shift key, it will align to the tile that you are in.
also persisting the active tileset that you are working on, so when you flip back and forth, it will still be there for you

from the first tutorial i noticed after loading the basic module, going into project settings/script settings/Tile 03 Warp and Tile 04 Win are mislabeled (swapped). warp is the script for win and win is warp when editing in project settings. was confusing me with the labels since the order didn't match stock label order. an easy fix, just copy and paste each code into the other as a fun way to get your first coding fix in there and rename your tile label, or just hit change with each script highlighted and rename the scripts to match the existing codes as seen below:
tutorial 1 swap.PNG

doing that renaming actually really helped me understand what was going on with that feature, so i recommend giving it a try.

finished up the second one with no issues, good intro to the pixel editor. only thing i'm still flaking on before starting up burning through recreating some beta tutorial stuff to get a functional game on 4.0.1 is how to organize the new projects. i guess that's one of the open ended parts to match peoples workflow, but my head is still in making copies of each NESmaker folder to keep the assets, scripts, save states and all separate.

It would be great if the « project labels » would get automatically the correct labels from the « script settings ». Would help a lot!
(Or the « script settings » ones from the « project labels ») ;)
