Nesmaker club magazine

I wonder if my newness to ASM might be of some use. I've taught myself ASM since August 25th, and applying that knowledge to NESMaker and some of its internal components. I wonder how useful it'd be to give my perspective on learning ASM from scratch and applying it to the tool?

Edit: Especially because there are so many people that think ASM or coding for NESMaker is this insurmountable wall to climb. I'm working on a showcase for the next video including my Long HUD Bars and a few surprises, and I was actually afraid to learn ASM before NESMaker because of how complicated it looked.

Awesome. I'll start writing some stuff down, because my story only works if it shows the evolution over time., and a week and a half is as good as any to start, especially since everything is still fresh in my mind!

Oh great!
Agree with you, learn ASM with NESMaker is so much easier than other online tutorials.

Hello everybody.

Just a word about the nesmakers magazine. As we don't know if joe and his team will be ok for a magazine about nesmaker, as it seems they already have something in mind, we'll try to launch a project about this magazine but it'll not be nesmaker only. We'll make a true NES magazine !

The best part about this project ? You can help us to create the best NES mag ever : you can suggest title for the mag, sections, write articles, vote for future games etc. The FB Group is fresh from today, don't hesitate to join us : https://www.facebook.com/groups/242014029826477/

You can follow us on twitter too, as we post in english: https://twitter.com/
We'll need your help to develop this project so please, share, talk about it etc ;)

Awesome idea. I'm in. I would buy that. There is so much cool nesmaker stuff on the forum, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. A magazine would be a great way to bring it together. These games are going to get better, the tools will become better, it will be great to look back through mags and see the progression from the beginning.

We are working on this mag, but it'll be better than a Nesmaker magazine only as we'll publish a true NES mag !

You'll have review, articles about games, accessories, contests, strips, article about homebrew and Nesmaker of course etc.

Avis que je partage pour lavoir acheté... Pas mauvais mais rien dexceptionnel, de plus le prix est certes en deçà  de la concurrence, mais ramené au nombre de page le prix est plus élevé...

I realy like the idea of having a physical mag, but as others have pointed out nesmaker is very nitch. Could it be a general nes homebrew mag? I also think ever 2 months might be a bit of a stretch, ever 4 seems more doable.
Would love to see some comics of new homebrew titles in the pages. Build the lore of the games like in the old days. Need to commission some Saturday morning cartoons too :p

A free / donation-based download would be nice like wireframe dose, can grow the community with people who can support financially doing so. But also have the physical version for sale.

Good luck, hope this goes somewhere, even if just online issues to begin with.

I am definitely on board, but I agree with wallmasterr that it should be published every four months and be open to nes homebrew projects and have a section just for nesmaker in the rear of the magazine maybe? Personally, I love the idea of a physical magazine, I'd subscribe.
