It's excellent work and Capcom are well known for their generosity regarding use of their IP but Disney not so much lol. For obvious reasons NesMaker can't condone remakes or the use if other peoples property.

If this is all your own work, it stands on its own and other than being birds I can't see any that are directly copied from the game. Why not just come up with a different title and treat it as more of a love letter to the franchise rather than using their name?

No need to get defensive about it. NesMaker makes it very clear on the website and in Joe's videos that it's a no no. I think you should respect their wishes as the creator of the software but all the same excellent work. All you need now is an original main character and you don't need Disney. People will still love the game regardless.

Didn't notice that! Still very good work though. I hope you can still be part of NesMakers forum. Rules are rules for a reason, nobody wants NesMaker to be shutdown in the same way other game engines have in the past.
