retroarch core as default emulator

I use a tri-sync arcade monitor for my retro gaming with a combination of (mme4crt version of Retroarch) and Groovymame for the arcade side
both use switchres to obtain the correct resolution i.e 256x224@60 at 15Khz for NES.

I have included my setting above to show the correct parameters; if you desire testing your game on a Retroarch core.
Obviously change the file paths to the correct locations and choose your preferred core.

Cool idea if you have a custom retroarch configuration. Doesn't it take longer to launch though than stand-alone emulator?
