Hi! Just this week I decided to jump from Windows to Linux (Nobara Distro), as I was growing tired of the Microsoft ecosystem, the subscription programs like adobe, etc...
But anyways, I looked up in the forums and I saw that there was no Linux version of Nesmaker, and for I read in this message it seems that there was no way to run it... until now.
Yes, you can run Nesmaker on Linux and activate it with the official license.
Well, I would like to say that it was a programming achievement, but no, II only needed a little bit of reserarch and a lot of ChatGPT to do the trick. I haven't tested extensively, but you can create projects, save them, export them and locate them inside the linux root. You have to play a bit by importing the assets, but it works fine until we have an official version.
It is emulated trough a Linux app called "Bottles", I add a PDF in the forum post with the instructions I followed.
Happy programming on Linux.
