[Solved] Broke Studio PCB Issues

Howdy! I just got a few mapper 30 boards from Broke Studios in the mail.

I flashed my nesmaker game and popped it in the NES. The title screen comes up, but repeatedly flashes on and off (as does the power light on the console). Almost like a connection issue, but my 72 pin connector is new and all other carts work just fine.

I tried flashing a different board, and got the same result. The game flashes just fine, but the NES has trouble reading it. It has no trouble reading the boards from INL though.

Any ideas?

I guess if you tap the reset button, it sets the region. So now it works!

So possibly to set the chip, you must press the reset around 8 times to "prime" it. It's a thing.

Yes, it's a thing with almost all the PCB used for homebrews (every time I got a new game, I need to press RESET 5-7 times on my console to get it to my region... PAL)
