Hello!
This is my first attempt of making a game and I'm glad that it's gonna be a NES game!
Tamfor is going to be Zelda 1 -like action/adventure with 5 worlds with 2 stages each. Here's some screenshots from the "Jungle" world with interior and exterior parts and some spritework too. HUD isn't working, it's just a mockup for the real HUD. Life and mana will be indicated by numbers instead of hearts/meters, the sword icon shows your current melee skill and wand your current magic skill.
You can storm right into the fifth world and complete the game without clearing the other four worlds first, but it will be difficult. Fifth world is swarming with monsters and most of them are vulnerable to different melee and magic skills you obtain from the other four worlds.
Worlds can be played in any order. First world you enter will be difficulty level 1, second world level 3, 3rd level 5, 4th level 7 and fifth world will always be level 9. Gotta make out how to implement some level upgrades to the player.
Well, that's a start! Progress is slow due lack of time, but better later than never!
(edit. these are just test screens, not from the actual game)
