Figured it might be easier to use one thread for all my bits and pieces. I'm using version 4.5.6 and trying to get the MetroidVania module.

Here is todays update. I started working at the first level boss. I'm hoping to change what he does I just tossed a bunch of actions on the page to see if I could make the massive sprite work.

Todays update is some more work on our wheelchair friend. I worked on the hurt and death scripts (thanks to TakuikaNinja for the help).
He can now take damage and DIE.

Fairly Large update with this post. I'm trying to tie together the first level with all the stuff I've been playing with. Posted a quick playthrough - you can see some things that need to be fixed up but its getting closer!

- made a boss intro screen when you reach that point in the level.
- broke up the first and second halves of the level so I would have more luck with the scroll transitions. I was getting alot of glitches the longer the screens chained.
- implemented the scrolling Fixes that was suggested by Davey and Taku :)
- Auto Text box tile when Panzer sees the first boss
- Color corrections on palettes for monsters that had wrong colors.

Managed to get the Melee sorted out... what a nightmare. Trying to get it so when you hit "up" it will fire off the projectile and eat the ammo bar.

He do you need someone to do some music for the game, noticed you have been using the beta songs for quite some time, actually was thinking about asking quite earlyer but got music block, basically art block for music but that’s done now ;p

Oh! I’m sorry Logana I thought you were Hunter from the Facebook page. I guess you both must have reached out at the same time. Hunter was interested in helping with that part so I’ve been holding off on that aspect for the time being.

@9Panzer well how bought this, we both make a test bgm and boss music along with a title theme and what ever one you like the most gets the role?

Hey sorry just got the message chain.
I'm not familiar with how the sound works but maybe both of you could do something? Can we use songs from different files?

not really as the songs most likely have different instruments and as well if we are composing full soundtracks it would be hard to work around other, but if he agrees to that i would be done to do that, though i still think its a good idea to make the test songs so that you can decide on a style that you want the music to generally sound like

sending the file over, lol just relized you used one of my dumb sound effects I made during byte off, gonna do the same next byte off to, but way better
