Tic Tac Dough possibility? (based on a Jack Barry and Dan Enright game show from the 70s)

It just occurred to me that I could possibly create a NES game show based on this TV game show from the 70s. If you’ve never heard of it, here’s an example of a typical game:

of course, it’ll take me some time to learn NESMaker, and that’s why I’m doing all the tutorials first!!!!

That's a brilliant idea. Once you've gone though all the tutorials, search for 'grid based movement'. There's a topic about it in the forum which might be helpful to your project.
