What's Up with Infiniteneslives?

Can't email him when the link to contact him doesn't work. So for those who don't use twitter don't have a way to contact him if they don't already have his email address.
Joe and I had written an email to him, asking for this same situation like 3 weeks ago, no answer...

Joe may have to find someone else who can produce this product and be reliable. You have all these people picking up the software and asking how they can put it on a cart and no one can help them at the moment. Isn't good. Busy or not, it only takes a moment to answer a email or message. Put people at ease.

You're right, I hope we can get a proper answer asap, because the software is very good but, if you cannot put it in a cartridge... is really annoying

That it is, at best you could pop it onto a flash cart so as long as it supports the mapper. I'm not really sure if flash carts have mapper 30 support. They may but I couln't say for sure what ones do or don't.

I feel bad to agree with this, especially at this time of year and not knowing peoples personal circumstances but in all honestly, the products from INFneslives are amazing and well loved but now NesMaker is growing rapidly in popularity, Joe's endeavours are not being shown in a good light through no fault of his own. The main selling point to the software is that it's easy to make you're own carts. For some, this hasn't been possible for a long time. Some users have got lucky and managed too get a dumper/flasher but that just made it more frustrating for those who can't.
Yes, there are other ways to play NesMaker games and even make carts but that's not what NesMaker are selling. Joe has produced several tutorial videos during the time people can't even get the flasher advertising that carts can be made with a push of a button. I hope INFneslives get stock before someone fills the gap in the market because the product is very high quality. There could be personal reasons or logistics issues but current users and potential buyers of the software should really be made aware that they won't actually be able to flash a cart for an undisclosed amount of time.

I agree with you, he puts out some high quality stuff. An while it isn't really any of our business if he is having any personal issues or not, a simple statement or update or something about the stock of the flashers and carts would be loads better then radio silence. Like you said, NESmaker has blown up quite a bit and with one of the selling points being able to flash your game it's don't reflect well on both NESmaker and Infiteneslives. It's absolutely nothing against him, just think it's important people can play their games on real hardware as advertised.

I hope more users that are having this same problem could give us a hand supporting this topic, sharing their concerns here ,so maybe Joe can give us a more detailed explanation about this situation...

I spoke too soon because on the updated website there IS a statement...

"Currently, these kits are fulfilled through INL directly, however we will begin stocking them in house starting early in 2021."

This is basically a one-man operation. He has family that helps him, but that's it. Hopefully the community can understand the economics and infrastructure of such a boutique, niche cottage industry and realize Paul's doing his best.

Unfortunately, I don't think he is doing his best. Open lines of communication are important for small operations, especially during times like these. Since December 4th when I originally wrote this thread I've received no reply to the message I've sent over on Facebook. Worse yet is the support ticket feature that still isn't working on the site at all. So for some like myself who don't use twitter or who know his personal email we have absolutely no means of contact. At this point, I'd be too nervous to order anything from Infiniteneslives anymore anyhow.

🤔 Not to be a complete stalker but the brand seems to be very active on social media and forums but completely ignoring questions about stock and orders. It's understandable that people are getting frustrated.

I understand your frustrations; it's really unfortunate that nobody is getting back to you. I haven't tried to contact him since back in October or November, so I'm not sure what things are like these days.

Tbh I've got my order now so I shouldn't concern myself with it all. I just don't think its excusable to repeatedly ignore customers no matter how small or niche the business. I still don't have a reply from the message I sent asking about stock 6 months ago! My advise to @PasseGaming is just order one when you can and in the unlikely event it doesn't get delivered, just open a case with PayPal. I doubt it would ever come to that but you have that to fall back on so no need to be nervious about ordering.

The flasher and carts are an integral part of the complete product and concept being sold. I don't think it'll be very long before new8bitheros are stocking / dispatching and dealing with CS themselves for the hardware if the reliability doesn't improve.

Like Vanderblade said, it's a almost one-man company... it's very difficult for him to deal with all our orders and messages.
But to ave talked with him a few times this month, he's really busy and he's aware of our issues with the stocks.

I will repeat myself but....
- If you need mapper30 boards, you can also try ordering the ones from Broke Studio. they have stock, good price (the shipping rates are correct) and you can get them in 3 weeks (same like ordering from INL). Make sure to choose "vertical" mirroring when ordering those unrom512 mapper30 boards to be ready to use with NESmaker.
- And for the shells, I sugest Aliexpress ! theu have A LOT of colors for 4$ each, you will receive it in 3 to 4 weeks (search "72pin shells")
