Windows Security detects exploit when starting NESMaker

I just purchased NESMaker and when I open the program, it displays a webpage "Austinmckinley.com" and then my windows security alerts there is an exploit and that it has been quarantined. Please see the attached files. Has anyone else run in to this occurrence? It occurs every time I try to open the program.

I'm guessing the pane shows a "web page"... it first shows the NesMaker graphic, and then appears to "redirect"

I submitted a Contact form on the NESMaker website, and this is the reply I received: "It's no problem at all. Austin McKinley is the artist on our project. He did some management to his website and completely forgot that the NESmaker front pointed to a page there. Unfortunately until we talk to Josh, who coded that, we can not remember what the URL was for that page to put it back. So just disregard. It's just a pointer to let you know that site no longer exists, but we'll fix it ;-)"

I am guessing Windows Security must be flagging it as an exploit since the page it is set to display doesn't exist and it is getting redirected. That is my best guess.
