Hello,
My whole life I've wanted to make retro games and this program was a huge thing for me when I discovered it. I grinded in 2020 at learning the program and lost steam until a month ago. I have become really good at character design, animations, basic game/level layout. My only problem is I'm stuck at this surface level with games that have no depth and there is only so far tutorials can take me. I've tried learning ASM but it is impossible and I have given up. (very unlike me)
So what I am asking:
Would any smart/ASM language savy person want to collaborate on same original game ideas I have? I can do all the art and music and layout, and you can piece the puzzle together into something cohesive. obviously theres a lot more to discuss but just wanted to put this out there. I don't think I will ever be able to learn how to code my head just doesn't understand and everyone that teaches it doesn't realize you need to explain it like you would to a 5 year old.
