Graphics / Assets issue (noob in need)

Hi all,

I've just created my first few assets and created a screen with them in the overworld. The only other thing ive done is create a pallette; nothing else has been set up. Brand new basic platformer project.

So, I clicked export and test, just to see what happened. What appeared in the emulator was really strange. I've got graphics from my tile set that I haven't set up as an asset intead of what I made and the graphics loaded are also all messed up in a really odd way. I've tried re-saving everything / rebooting / deleting and re-making the assets etc but I never seem to get the screen I've drawn.

This is what shows in Nesmaker....

Looks like your tileset is not in RGB colors? (every colors that are not Red, Green or Blue... will be rendered as black)

Thanks, it wasn't that but I did eventually work out what id done!

I'd saved the .bmp file in a different smaller size somehow which jumbled everything up. It's fine now. I have a tile with the missing bricks, thats why it looks like I haven't made sure it was in RGB.

Basically, I exported my graphics from piskel, loaded it into Nesmaker and saved it not realising that the size of the .bmp made it a row of tiles short. I was just having a dumb moment.

Thank you anyway, appreciated.

Ah ah ok ;) yeah, size of the tilesets are very important in NESmaker.
Don't hesitate to watch again the tutorials ;)
