Ultra-mini-minor update!
I tried adding summer/winter mode using game states but I couldn't get physics to work on any other state than the "Main Game" state. So now there's a screenflag that tells the game which season to use. Which means there are two types of physics in the game now:
Summer/Fall Moo, tile-based hopping |
Winter Moo, skating cow prototype |
Here's a to-do summary (also for myself to fall back on):
- Add levels for Fall mode
- Finish Winter mode (Cow needs a body)
- Add Spring mode
- Create and add songs for both Fall and Spring mode
- Optimize code if necessary
- Add levels like a mad cow
- Testing, testing, testing...
Unfortunately I'm afraid I won't be done before November 5th, but this game's full version is going to see the light of day eventually!
