NES Classic not working with NES Maker

I was searching this forum and found something about running NES Maker games on the NES classic and tried the method of installing retroarch and setting the emulation core to FCEUmm but when I launch the game on my NES Classic it just exits the game after a few seconds, if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

You could also "just" modify the header of your NESmaker game Rom, to Mapper 2, like suggested here:
