Windows XP?

Hey guys,
I'm still struggling to find an efficient way to run NESmaker on my Linux machine. It works on a Windows 10 virtual machine, but really really slowly. However, I have a Windows XP virtual machine, and it is snappy and works like a charm. Unfortunately, NESmaker_4_5_2.exe throws me an error when executing, something about the wrong version, and the hex number 0xc0000135.

Is there anyway I could make this work? There must be some libraries missing or something?

Long Live Windows XP! :D

I think you need to install the correct Microsoft Framework .NET
Also if your Windows XP is 32 bit, you need to replace the dna.dll (in your NESmaker folder) with the one from here: http://nesmakers.com/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2714&p=17038

Not sure about which one you would need... try with the most recent (windows xp compatible) one.

I replaced dna.dll and installed the .NET framework 4.0.3, and NESmaker now throws the following error:
"MysticSearchesTool has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
