A Question About My License/Activation Key(nesmaker)

So i have to get a new harddrive, and actually i had a backup drive, so i am currently using a backup drive.My question is, will my activation license only work on so many harddrives? Or actual computers?
I dont want to install on this intermediary drive if i should just wait for the new harddrive.

It says ive activated it too much.But this was all on my same laptop. So can i unactivate?

Luckily im kindof a burn out and bought 2 codes in the first place because i lost my first one ,so i am using the other one for now.Thanks again cutter and i contacted joe.
Didnt know about the whole keyportal thing.

So to be sure, your code can only be activated 2 times.Do not pay attention to the term
"use on 2 computers at once" as it applies as much as "no coding required",
as you cannot even activate 2 times on the same computer.
Im sure joe will get back to me in a timely manner and it should be resolved.
Just wanted to give anyone else a heads up,in this situation, a different harddrive
is equal to a different computer. Live and learn.
