This was my Byte off more than I could chew game. I was trying to make the contest deadline but didn't happen. I did eventually a week later finish to a point of where I thought it was sharable. This is my first arcade platformer and 2nd game. My friends have a toy store. They also do a weekly claim sale which is also a collector hang out. They let me share my first game demo in their Patreon VIP group. That really meant a lot to me so I thought it'd be cool to come up with a game for them. When byte off came up I thought hey this would be the perfect chance to give this a a shot.
Farpoint: Toys Matter Demo link
Arcade style platformer. Avoid enemies and pitfalls and collect the toys. There are 2 realms each with 10 single screen maps and a boss encounter. The relax mode has no enemies or hazards. My 5 year old niece always likes to help test my games. I usually wind up making a special screen for her or removing the monsters. It eventually came to me I should just add that as an option. The levels are basically the same but I removed all the hurt tiles and put in extra prizes.
Project is still in development. This thread will contain any future updates.
