There will not be a video or update in today. We'll be a bit behind schedule but they are working on a future proofing pass to keep updates from repeatedly breaking things.

I suppose it hasn't been hinted when 4.1 will be released?

As I understand it, the 4.1 release will hit once it's stable enough to do so. They don't want to release it with any major bugs, and it seems like there are times when NES development is like playing whack-a-mole.
