Miner (byte off 2019)

In 1980s there were many arcade ports for the NES,but this game is tribute to all of them.
And that is the premise of Miner.
You take the control of as a Miner who explores around the caves finding treasure.

There are three caves:

Normal Cave

Ice Cave

Greenish Cave

oh, here it is.
i dont know why but mine file that i sent joe won't work when i try to set is as attachment.
It just shows a yellow triangle and thats it.

Anyways here is the only rom file.

Controls feel a little loose, especially when jumping. Though I learned to compensate for that. if you take your thumb off the pad in midair, the guy will just drop directly to whatever he's under.

The balance feels uneven...a super-challenging stage with tight platforming is sometimes followed by a stage where all you have to do is climb a ladder. it could also use some more variety in the colors, but since the style is super-retro maybe that was intentional.

There's still some time to fix these issues before the deadline.

yeah,im aware of that. keep in mind that we have to make demos,if i would make miner a big game i would add more things and fix things like this and the bad boxart and manual.

Thank you for the Demo! I like the distinct look of the game and can watch that little guy dance around for hours.
