NESMaker 4.5.6 Tutorial Issues

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to work through the Beginner Maze, Metrovania, and Brawler tutorials for a while now. I've been following the instructions exactly as the video states. However, When I try to export/test the ROM, I get the error messages listed below for the Maze and Metrovania games. As for the brawler game, it runs but the player's walk animation won't play when moving left or right. Any help on these matters would be greatly appreciated.

For one thing there seems to be a problem with your music, preventing he games from playing, and the animation thing it’s probably because you didn’t add change action to moving when pressing up down left and right in the Imput editor and in you characters animations, you may have not set animation speed and it looks like you have messed with the some stuff that has to do with the data banks in the Metroid vania game, cant say witch at the moment not at my computer

I don't know if that's enough information for anyone to really offer any help. Lets begin with the brawler. Does the animations work for up and down? If so have you looked at the setting and compaired them to the up and down setting? Sometimes it's as simple as forgetting a action step or not properly setting up the animation correctly.

Did you load the music from the resources into the game when you started settingup the game? I dont think it will load to test if it's not there. Try watching the intermediate maze tutorial(it covers this in the first few minutes). The first time I tried to test my game I had the same problem and I believe that fixed it.

Looks like you have input scripts assigned in your "Input Editor" that are no more in your "Scripts > Input Scripts" list. Maybe you removed them?
So... just add again those scripts. Or just remove the scripts from the "Input Editor".
