Player Death Sound Doesn't stop on last note

Hey all,

I'm sure I've seen a similar post for this problem, but I can't seem to find it so I apologize if this has been answered but I'm having an issue where the sound that plays when player death happens hangs on the last note infinitely. I'm pretty sure the sound ends with a stop note (the big bold hyphen looking symbol in the famitracker composition) but not sure if that's the problem since I had someone compose this for me. Anyone know how to make the sound end properly? It's the only one of my sounds that's doing this.

Handle PLayer Hurt doesn't have a "StopSound" line in it - at least mine doesn't. Tried that in the Handle Player Death script and that only made the level music continue to play under the death sound effect which still hung on the last note.

Only your death sound? Other sounds play well?
It could be a limitation a of the sound/music engine...?

It's the only sound that does this, correct. Though, oddly, my Hurt sound plays properly on tile collisions, but doesn't play at all when a monster collides with the player. I'm less worried about that issue right now though.

If you change the death sound with another one... does it play correctly?
Might be your sound that is incorrect.
