I dont understand how to use famitracker and got help recreating my compositions into famitracker but now when I load them into nesmaker and try to incorporate them into my game i instantly get an error when I try to export and test. Can anyone explain to me how I would be able to tell if certain sounds were used in it that possibly shouldnt have been? Or if maybe something is mislabeled somehow?

Could you provide us with the error message you are getting? Some issues I ran into had to do with naming the instruments and songs. There's an excellent guide on the forum with do's and dont's: https://www.nesmakers.com/index.php...ing-nesmaker-compatible-music-and-sound.3018/

I had a similar issue when trying to put the famitracker files into nes maker. So, what I did was open the files with the music program included with the nes maker and then exported a text file using that program. Then imported the newly saved text file and it worked fine after that for some reason. Does that make sense?

Were you trying to import FTM files into NESmaker? Because FamiTracker has the Export Text feature you're supposed to use for importing. Does the same thing as exporting it from FamiStudio - it makes an FT txt file.
