Anyone seen this?
https://www.gbstudio.dev
Iv been playing about with it for a little bit now and its realy cool. Its only for one specific type of game but the interface and way you script things is realy induative.
Tile creation is interesting too. You just load one big png for a screen and it packs them until it runs out of tile space and piles up duplicates.
the warping between screens interface adn being able to just move screen around is grate.
You can make top down adventure games and some other stuff if your creative, also has simple block pushing and stuff built in. I so wish nes maker looked more like this even though i still like newsmaker.
This is what iv made so far with it.

What I great twist on the block pushing genre! I also love the water and the duck, lovely graphics!

I plan to play around with GB Studio after I have completed my first game and make a GB version of it. I hope there'll be a jump'n'run module sometime, I'm not sure how well my game will translate to RPG, but your example shows how creativity can bend a tool.
From what I've seen the way GB Studio is build and set up looks very intuitive to use. I like how you can connect rooms in a "floaty" way.
