I've being teeth grinding and reading up on here the past few weeks hiding in the corner !
NES is a bigger learning curve for me. I have used ZX Spectrum game engines previous which are a lot more noob friendly
then a thousand lines in basic riddled with syntax errors. Going back as a child used to spend hours with Basic coding books typing in each line
putting in a blank cassette, pressing record and hoping the game actually stored and played!!!
I fancied a change, some colour and no colour clash.
So the journey begins....
Mid 30's bloke, Big retro gamer. I've spent the past few months building and configuring a NeoGeo cab with Tri-Sync CRT.
Use Bigbox frontend, Backends "Groovymame; arcade side and MME4CRT version of Retroarch for the console side"
first computer commodore VIC-20
first console GrandStand pong machine!
