Hello,
After purchasing NESMaker several years ago, I got distracted with life and haven't really touched it. My son (11) is getting into retro gaming, so we both remembered I bought this software and are actually going to make use of it this time! Our cart and cart programmer just showed up recently, and although I don't have my original console anymore, we do have a RetroN 5.
I used to dabble in assembly in the late 80's early 90's with the Commodore 64. I feel much at home and hope to brush up on my 6502 assembly.
I also do a lot of electronics design (i own a tech company), as well as embedded software development, so I am a bit inspired to dabble in cart design at some point. I also have a full line of SMT equipment that i bought last year (solder paste printer, pick and place, and reflow oven), so technically i could even have them assembled or provide assembly services if anyone was interested. We do fun side projects in between our production runs.
