Someone's gotten an SNES emulator to work on a real NES console. The results are far from perfect graphically, but it's fully playable.

Lots of games, mostly later in the NES's life cycle, put expansion chips on the games themselves. Not just for improved graphics, but music as well.

I wonder if he'd be able to make it glitchless? Or someone else? Who knows, maybe with such tech Shovel Knight running on actual NES is possible despite the limits it broke out of.
