"MysticSearchesTool has stopped working" error

Howdy NESMaker community!!!

I'm having a problem getting the tool to start up and hoping someone can help. I have downloaded the NESMaker_4_0_0 software from the website and extracted it to a folder on my local hard drive. When trying to execute the application file, I immediately get the "MysticSearchesTool has stopped working" error message and crash out. I am working on an HP laptop in Windows 7 Professional SP1, if that makes any difference.

I have tried downloading the .ZIP file a number of times to my local drive. I have run the Extract process from the website as well as locally to no avail. I've even tried the "Troubleshoot compatibility" menu function (right-click on the executable file) without success. Has anyone else had this issue yet?

Thanks for any assistance anyone can provide :)

Sorry to hear that. Do you have the .NET framework 4.xxx installed on your pc ?
Else... it seems there is a problem with 32bit Windows, the NESMaker doesn't start on that plateform. You might be in this situation.
They will find a solution soon (I think).
You can find a topic on that here: http://nesmakers.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=325
