Hi everyone. I have finished my first game, Paco. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I know the music isn't great, still learning Famitracker. Its a maze type, avoid-em single screen game. 4 worlds, 50+ screens. Hope you enjoy. Thanks

Congratulations on finishing your first game. Nice work! I tried it very briefly. Technically things seems to be working nicely. If I could suggest one improvement it would be to add some enemies on the empty screens and maybe add some form of attack (like a spit projectile) to destroy the monsters. But I'm no expert on maze games, so you should probably get some more feedback from others before making any changes. All in all you have done a great job here, especially considering that this is your first game.

Thanks for the positive feedback! It's always nice to see others enjoy your creations. The screens with no enemies I was always 50/50, the thinking was to give the player an easy screen here and there. Originally I had him spitting but found it made the game to easy to eliminate the enemies and grew to prefer adding the challenge of making the player unarmed forcing to use reflexes and pattern recognition. If I can figure out how to get more projectiles on screen without slowdown I would love to try a smash tv/berzerk style game. Perhaps I could add player weapon for boss screens as each level ends of a boss? Mix it up a little.
