I'm not sure if this is a problem with the way I'm making friendly NPCs, or if it's an inherent bug in NESMaker, but I'm trying to make an NPC that will say stuff when the player gets close. Whenever I try to test if the bounding box is working (and the NPC is acting like a solid object), the player will clip into the NPC sprite, get stuck and partially disappear. Only hitting RESET can fix this. I've done my best to make the NPC in much the same way that the player is made in the tutorial, but in the monster's graphics bank and without binding controls to it, obviously.
