Seems like you had the same idea as I was having.
Thinking about sacrificing about 256kb, you can have alright-ish quality audio musical piece which is about minute long.
Extending it a little with NES;es own tunes and you could have something amazing like opening of Tales of Phantasia for the SNES.

256kb is a little small... I'm delegating 400MB of my 500MB for music, sounds, and voices. 3: )

Good luck with trying to make NES read all that from a cartridge with it's 512kb limit. XD;;;

I already made and tested a 2MB cart that also had 32KB of CHR-RAM.

There was also a music cartridge that had 64MB.

Slowly getting the CPLD code done, and the 500MB cartridge will be alive.

So I'm happy to day that the issue when a fight is done and the game switches back to the world map has been half fixed!

Still getting a random warp issue, but the issue where the game goes to reload the world map and where the character "should be" (25 seconds into the video) is fixed.
